Position Description

Advertised Job Summary

Collaborate with Principal Investigator on large, complex research projects for the Department of Biomedical Sciences and the Human Performance Laboratory. This will include developing and executing research studies, writing grants, analyzing data, co-authoring publications, assisting with methodology development and study protocol.

Required Education and Experience

Must possess a doctoral degree in a health-related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in grant writing, research design and development, execution of studies, data analysis, manuscript writing.


Individual must be able to conceptualize and implement physical activity and lifestyle medicine research. S/he must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to work independently and be highly organized, with the ability to oversee multiple ongoing tasks. The ability to work effectively as part of a team. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships Ability to engage in productive research and educational activity
