Position Description

Advertised Job Summary

Reporting to the Associate Dean of Administrative & Faculty Affairs and under general supervision of the Director Human Resources & Organizational Efficiency, the Faculty Informatics Coordinator plans, coordinates and/or performs administrative and project activities and support services activities in relation to faculty activity data management and other institutional effectiveness data.
S/he serves as the System Administrator and Help Desk Manager for the Digital Measures Activity Insight (DMAI) software system and the liaison for this system to the faculty, leadership, and key administrative staff in the USCSOMG and the clinical departments of the Greenville Health System (GHS)
Organization skills, professionalism, manage deadlines while prioritizing multiple tasks and maintaining confidentiality are essential to successful performance.
Key Responsibilities:
To lead and carry out new administrative projects and complex special assignments of strategic importance to the Office of Faculty Affairs, integral to the administration of the School of Medicine Greenville. The Faculty Informatics Coordinator collaborates with executive leadership to develop and build consensus, acceptance, and increase the use of the DMAI system. Maintains confidential and professional demeanor in carrying out complex special assignments. Prepares and maintains records and reports related to Faculty Activity Data (Research/Scholarly activity data, Teaching Data and professional service data).
Provides data entry and program support related to faculty data systems such as Activity Insight

Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)

Bachelor’s degree and 2 years related experience in business management, administrative services or related field; or equivalency

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in academic medicine and/or health system environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook, Microsoft Project
