Position Description

Advertised Job Summary

Under the leadership of Business Operations and Finance, this position will support the efforts of management to organize community boards (new committee, new work), external relations, awareness efforts and fund-raising efforts. Under leadership of the Senior Director Development this individual will perform administrative support activities. Other administrative support activities to administrative offices for the school are integral part of this job.
Organization skills, professionalism, manage deadlines while prioritizing multiple tasks and maintaining confidentiality are essential to successful performance consistent with campus initiatives around conscious leadership.

Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)

Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of work experience that is directly related to the area of employment, or high school diploma and 6 years work experience that is directly related to the area of employment; or equivalency.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in academic and/or health system environment. Development and/or Advancement experience
Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook, Microsoft Project.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Knowledge of state agency policies, procedures, rules, regulations related to development work.
Knowledge of donor based software such as Raiser’s Edge.
Knowledge of modern office practices, procedures and equipment.
Ability to coordinate diverse projects.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Ability to always maintain a professional demeanor.
Ability to communicate effectively and maintain a welcoming culture, consistent with the principles of conscious leadership.
Ability to analyze data and present ideas effectively
Skilled to communicate effectively and maintain respect.
